    I have been a cyclist who did not do weight training in my programme, pressed for time and resources as a busy professional with a family. I had been coached before with a physique programme and seen some performance improvements- however not really heard that cycling was my priority I have found the programme with Cycle Strength over the first month easy to fit around my calendar and have not had to buy any special or expensive kit (you likely have the same basics that I have at home) I have seen improvements in core stability specifically for cycling and also highlighted to myself where I was neglecting stretches and mobility in my programme- you dont know what you dont know sometimes So far so good with progress and into the next phase now towards my Etape ride in July

Well that certainly changed, my strength and endurance has increased massively, from never riding more than 20 miles to a 70 mile ride, I lost weight gained muscle and all without compromising my time with my family, to say Im impressed is an understatement, if you want to get the best out of yourself try a bespoke plan and see the results in a few short weeks

    I have been working with Cycle Strength for 9 months and I am very pleased with the outcomes. The planned and tailored personal training programmes that Andy produces are excellent. I would recommend them to anyone wishing to improve the function of their body, not just cyclists. My longer story: I originally approached Andy as I had hit a plateau with my training at home. Having suffered from sciatica for some time (owing to playing rugby for many years) a physiotherapist had convinced me to re-train my body and increase my muscle mass to support my back, rather than under-go a rather invasive and dangerous spinal operation. At one point I thought I may never walk pain-free again, never mind lift weights, run or cycle. Andy started from the beginning with basic movements, very carefully increasing the intensity and varying the type of exercises for me to do. Eventually we added weights and progressively more weight. We catch up once a month and plan my next training block. He's also on hand through his personalised training app if I have trouble during the month with anything we've planned. It really feels like he's in the room with me but I have the flexibility to train when I can around work and family life. It's been a game-changer, I cannot thank him enough. I can now run 10k, cycle for a couple of hours, lift moderate weights above my head and do sets of burpees, all pain free! Thank you so much Andy and Cycle Strength Personal Training - top job!!

    Ive been looking to get back into exercise after a long lay off and found Andrews guidance really helpful. Hes taken me right back to the basics and getting my core and stability right before progressing onto more difficult exercises. In saying that every workout is challenging, with enough variety to keep things interesting

    Andy is a very supportive and knowledgeable trainer. He is contactable and ensures he provides a personable service. I learnt about his training programme and had the introductory video meeting with him. My training had stagnated and this programme is a comprehensive S&C to accompany your cycling. It relies on you completing the work out and being honest with yourself. There is also nutritional guidance to accompany the programme. Try it, if you commit, it won't disappoint!
