Im very unhappy with the older woman that was working yesterday evening as there was a misunderstanding about table number and it ended up with our drinks being a snatched from our table and told to leave. I could not believe how bad it was . There was also a under age member of staff serving alcohol to our tables then proceeded to tell the manager that we asked for her phone number ..:: being a married man with children of similar age I found that very offensive and will Not be returning wich is such a shame as location was very nice but wouldnt feel comfortable going back !

Best sunday lunch we have eaten for a long while. We had beef, lamb and the pork and it was all excellent Food & drinks: Excellent.

Sometimes you are put in a situation that is so antithetical to the idea of good service that it just makes you laugh. Our table had ordered a side of onion rings to share along with our meals, however the server (who was very nice I will say) dropped a number of them on the way to our table. She appologised and said she would have fresh ones made up to replace the ones lost in transit from the kitchen. The replacements never arrived, and when asked about it towards the end of the meal our server went back in to see what was going on. She returned to inform us that the manager had told her we had "been given extra to begin with" and that they were not going to replace the dish as a result All I could do was laugh at that excuse, which was so poor and insulting to the customer that I really can't describe it with language appropriate for a public review. To make matters worse the manager made our server communicate that horrible excuse instead of coming out and saying it themselves. Either we did get extra and the portion size for the onion rings is tiny, or they were just too lazy to throw some more in the fryer and redo the order. Either way the entire interaction is worthy of 1 star. I'm still laughing about it. At least I'll have a good story to share I guess
