I've used Red Occasions a number of times over the last few years, while co-ordinating Sub-Hires for other AV rental companies either side of the Pandemic/Covid period & they haven't let me down. Predominantly they are my go-to place for Astera lighting kit, which always turned up in great condition & presentable flightcases. These successful rentals led me to browsing their other equipment offerings & then Hiring in Led lighting units from Portman as well as utilising their modern stock of laser projectors, complete with flying frames & additional lenses, making the sub-hire so much easier. Their flightcases are impressive too, sometimes a custom design / made to measure, to accommodate additional accessories, saving you receiving other random boxes with your hire, containing additional components or a stock-sized box/flightcase crammed too full. In extremely busy times when I couldn't complete a hire directly or had the time available to sub-hire in myself, I've been able to pass whole jobs onto RED, knowing they'd take care of my client's needs. With the recent addition of extra warehouse space / facilities for RED, I can only see their offerings improving & I'm looking forward to the times when I can work with them again.
