This place is great, shame the "Most Relevant" reviews are negative ones from 3 years ago. Chris the manager is a real credit to to the brand, he is so helpful and has lots of local knowledge and stock knowledge. You can ask him something and he'll know if it's online, the delivery orders (good to Christmas!) and so on. I went in loads during mat leave and the staff are really friendly to families and kids. If you like to do craft stuff you need to go a good 4-6 weeks before the event as they bring the stock in early and it sells out quick for Easter, Halloween and Christmas. Good shop for gifts, party favours, and activities for children. They had books like the expensive Nosy Crow ones for 3 inclusing the astronaut one they sell at Royal Museums Greenwich for 10. You need to pop in regularly, as they sell out quickly of the good stuff or order online. Hope this place isn't lost in high Street culls.
