Was greeted with a friendly smile. Shown the range of bikes . Got a demo of how the bike works. Offered a helmet before going out for a ride on a Mate City. WOW . Taken over some very uneven ground, (no problem there ) . Then taken up a nice long hill , seemed like riding downhill. Got back then was told of extras that can be added but not over sold , great sales person. Just waiting to get my ride to work scheme to process then Im done . Got my Mate City

Don't waste your money Definitely feel ripped off. For the price of the bike, you can do so much better. I've been using the bike for about 5 months now. Real good looking bike, but genuinely the frame is the only positive to this bike, all electrics bar the back-light and main functionalities of the bike have stopped working. This includes the horn and front light which are imperative for safety, and have now had to pay out extra money to replace them. They've capped the bikes at 25 km/h now, and when I've looked up how to mod this particular bike to go faster, I will pretty much have to replace everything apart from the frame which I could have bought for 1200-1500. The only reason this has 2 stars is because the team who sold it to me were pretty nice guys, but then I guess you would be if you're trying to get someone to overpay for something right?

These bikes are a joke. Ive never seen one, but it doesnt take a genius to work out this is absolute rubbish. Go to a proper bike shop. Sincerely, someone who knows about bikes and ebikes

My friend brought this bike, looks amazing but its the worst bike ever, easily breaks down, chain pops off while cycling -repair service is not the best (be careful for what you pay for) MATE BIKE has completely put me off E bikes -would rather a normal bike then waste allot of money on this bike
