Simply great! Recently got myself into the property market and had the best of luck with Paul Allen as my Estate Agent. He has been an absolute legend throughout the entire (painful) process of purchasing a house, always full of long waits for documents and having to nudge people here and there to do their job. Paul has been on top of everything the entire time and made the wait bearable. They also have a great bunch of properties available: worth checking if you're planning to buy around the area

Having just sold my second property through Beaumont Gibbs, Paul Allen was the representative dealing with the sale. I cannot praise him enough for the professional and courteous manner he displayed throughout the negotiations.Despite a sudden downturn in the property market he remained constantly upbeat ensuring a steady stream of viewings until the eventual sale was completed. I found him to be honest at the same time ensuring I was constantly updated with the results of viewings. When buyers were found he liaised with both sets of solicitors ensuring tight time frames were accomplished. We have moved out of a property managed by Beaumont Gibbs. The landlord sold the house and we were very cooperative during the whole process, leaving the house tidy for views, accommodating their views according to our busy lives, etc. Now its been 11 days since we have moved out and I had to chase several times to enquire about our deposit. The only response I got was that the check out report was done one week after our move and that the landlords were not getting back to them. What happens to the 10 days time frame?? In order for us to move in, everything needs to be done on time. But once we move out they take their time and we have to be stressed chasing up. Another week has passed and I have no idea when we are getting our deposit back. Really disappointing and stressful.

I initially dealt with Dave who, after approaching other estate agents, told me ugly truth about the condition of my house and what to realistically expect from a prospective sale. I appreciated Dave's honesty and professionalism and engaged Beaumont Gibbs. I was introduced to plenty of cash buyers and whilst it took some time to secure a buyer, I was supported through the process by Luke. OK, finding buyers is what you expect all estate agents to do but I was grateful to Luke and Dave who provided advice on future renting (even though I wasn't renting from Beaumont Gibbs) and were happy to provide a bit of an ad hoc printing service for me (I have no printer) and even urgently ran some papers to my solicitor. Selling property is stressful process but Beaumont Gibbs made it a simple and straightforward process as it could be. Highly recommended and with reasonable fees I would strongly suggest contacting them as one of your prospective agents.
