I'm quite disappointed at the range of products on offer - it doesn't really go beyond what supermarkets sell and the variety of fresh herbs is quite bad (they don't sell terragon for example).

Nice local business. Fairly seasonal and always a good range of fruit, veg and eggs on offer. Reasonably priced. Staff super friendly and helpful. If you don't see something on display, ask and they might have it at the back.

Cheap but certainly not cheerful or edible!!! This shop sells the worst quality fruit and veg, mostly unfit for human consumption!!! Those that are sweating in plastic bags are the most appalling. I am sure most of the stock are purchased super cheaply because they are ready for the bin. Here are my experience of shopping here . . . Years ago when I moved into this neighbourhood, I bought some melons that appeared ripe but fine, however, hardly any juice came out from my high quality Magimix juicer, just loads of fibre and a huge mess to clean up for no reward. Then I purchased a large bag of mange tout for 1, they appeared fine without any damage, but they were absolutely tasteless, perhaps acceptable if you are after chewing on some fibre to relieve constipation. Since then I have never shopped here again until recently when I purchased 3 good size avocados for 1. I still had my doubt but they appeared fine, felt firm enough and not overripe, unfortunately, they all went straight into the bin because they were brown inside with loads of dark veins. I tried to upload a photo many times but for some reason it is not showing, if you do see it, the photo actually shows a much greener and somewhat presentable appearance. I have no idea how this shoddy business can exist for so long selling such dreadful junk. Shopping here is like being robbed in daylight, representing nothing but false economy, it is certainly not a place to be trusted for anything half decent. Stay away and go a few doors down the road where fruits and veg are reasonably priced and good quality. Absolutely shameful and deceitful owner!!!
