Hired an SUV for 3 days. Was told that although the paperwork said the track was full there was an error and it was 1 mark down from full on the fuel display. They told me to just take a photo and refill to the same position when I drop it off. I did this and I have a charge of 13 on my credit card. I have emailed sixt and uploaded to two photos of the fuel gauge at pick up and drop off, yet I have had no response. The car was in a poor condition inside and out... something which I told the agent. Full of scratches and dents that I'm sure other renters have been charged for and the interior was unclean and the seats were stained. I will not rent from sixt again.

The branch was empty when I was due to start my rental. They need more staff. They arrived 30 minutes later and the tail lift truck I ordered was faulty as someone had stole the tail lift mechanism the night before. I didnt realize until I got home. You can never ring the office direct so I spent 2 hours on hold to the main office being passed from department to department and hung up on. Had to get a different van but not until 20 hours later the next day. The staff member in the branch was lovely but sixt are obviously cutting costs left right and centre and the staff levels are nowhwere near satisfactory
