The place was very freshly decorated and clean. It had everything you could need in the kitchen and generally including nice soft bath robes. We arrived to a welcome pack with some nice snacks, tea and coffee. The dog even got some treats and a ball and was very happy. There was a very useful folder of information on local attractions, walks and covering everything in the flat. The area is lovely with lots of places to see and things to do. I would recommend Hartland Quay which has spectacular views . Docton Mill and gardens are a great place for a cream tea and have a gentle stroll in the gardens. The host was available and friendly but left us to enjoy the peace of the rural setting. The village was small but had a pub and shop in very easy walking distance. We did not use the pub as it was busy at Easter but it looked very nice. Would be worth booking ahead as Gabriella warned us but we had booked the flat last minute so did not get chance. We would recommend this place for those wanting a quiet retreat but still having plenty to do nearby. We will hopefully return again some time as we only scratched the surface of the area.

Absolutely stunning property, in a perfect location to be able to explore North Devon. The property itself has been fitted out to an exceptionally high standard, with a fully equipped kitchen, stunning bedroom area, large bathroom/walk in shower and beautifully decoration throughout. Gabby was a perfect hostess providing advice on the local area on everything from where to eat to places to visit. Have stayed in a number of properties in a variety of places but this has been the best by far on all counts. Looking forward to a return visit soon

The perfect place to stay if you are exploring the lovely countryside of Devon. The accomidation was stunning, so modern and very well appointed with everything we needed and more besides. very part of the accomidation was very well thought out with an attention to detail with helpful labels and instructions where they were needed. The hosts were very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. will definatly stay there again. many thanks go to Gabby and Tim.
