I cannot fault this place at all, it's absolutely beautiful and Paulette and Patrick are such wonderful caring owners and hosts. I've coeliac disease and Paulette had no issues catering to my dietary requirements for breakfast each morning. My son has sensory issues with food, so it limited with what he will eat for breakfast. He had pancakes with fruit every morning, he said "they are the best pancakes he's ever had". The breakfast were amazing, with fresh apple and orange juice avail, pots of tea, little jars of fruit and yoghurt each morning in the conservatory, which is heated very well. We could enjoy our breakfast and see birds feeding and flying all over, even saw a rabbit in the garden, which is beautiful too. The grounds and the building itself are so pretty and the decor is perfect, the rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage for the few days we stayed for. I love the craftsmanship of the keyring for each room, it's a nice added feature that all rooms have lovely names. It was close by to shops and family friends we were going to visit so we couldn't go wrong for this location. Again, credit to Paulette and Patrick on such a lovely run guest house, I would absolutely love to stay here again some day. Thank you so very very much for everything. Rooms: A shower or bath in each room, kettle, TV, a shared fridge on the landing to keep milk and large bottles of water cool.

We have stayed at The Old Mill twice, and both times have experienced such a warm welcome, fantastic service (more like staying with family), and such good food that we will be coming back again. The bedding was so good, that my wife has already asked where they got the duvet from so we can buy one ourselves :-). If you're looking to stay in a place with genuine character, and receive a really warm welcome, then pick to stay here, you really won't regret it.
