        Absolutely awful place run by rude unhelpful staff. I would not waste your money at this dump. You buy items then they tell you otherwise. I will never return to this place again. Two auctioneers who literally have no idea about what they sell. Which has basically become a car boot sale auction House

        I live fairly local to Railtons and visit during the summer as well as always following online. I have made purchases over the last five years online and on site and always found the auction house staff to be friendly and efficient, including Jim himself.

        We are on holiday in Wooler and were intrigued by the Railtons yard.As visitors we did not realise it was an auction house .When I asked if we could browse I was told by an assistant an abrupt ' No 'the auction is not ready.It was a very off putting response and held no explanation regarding the forth coming auction.We certainly would not be buying anything any time soon.
