Longbeach House

Wow, where do I begin! My partner and I stayed from the 28th October - 4th of November and it was everything we needed. Knowing that the weather was going to be hit and miss this time of year, we were sceptical about how the holiday was going to be, well we neednt be! The downstairs of the lodge comprises of a utility room with washing & tumble drying facilities, a downstairs toilet, and an open plan lounge which filters into the kitchen dining area. You can really tell that whoever owns this property takes real pride in their home, with everything kept to a 5* standard. The kitchen is kitted out with excellent equipment - smeg fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, non stick pots and pans and built in oven/microwave. The lounge has 2 large sofas, an arm chair with poof and a fire to keep you cosy on those cold autumnal nights! The lounge is also extremely bright and vibrant, when the sun beams through the patio doors and it offers fantastic sea views. Upstairs youre welcomed with 3 large double bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite with sea views and then a family bathroom. The beds were really comfy, with crisp white bed linen. The lodge is operated by hive for the heating and also has a great sound system! It really was a magical stay and I cant wait to go back again! Thanks, George

We stayed at the Longbeach House a few weeks ago and what a fantastic trip it was! When we arrived, we were greeted with a beautifully turned out, modern beach house. The interior was pristine clean with crisp white bed linen and sparkling bathrooms/kitchen. The kitchen was excellently equipped with everything you could need during your stay including some coffee pods, jams and biscuits as an added touch. The lounge is the perfect level of roomy and cosy with the most spectacular views looking over the Woolacombe beach and Devonshire countryside. Each bedroom is spacious with the two rooms at the back also having fantastic views over the coast. There is plenty of room to get ready in each room with dressing tables, mirrors and hairdryers. The master bedroom has good wardrobe and draw space with a king size bed. To the back of the property there is a large patio with tables, chairs and sun loungers. This is an excellent space which again looks out over the amazing scenery. There is a BBQ with all the bits and bobs you need for alfresco dining. The garden has a large lawn perfect for children and dogs to play in safely as this is all very secure, even for small dogs. To the front of the house there is space for 2 cars and off road car parking. The property is located at the top of Woolacombe making this a very quiet property to stay in as it is not situated on a main road, however you are only a stones throw away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and town. Long beach house is set 5 mins walk away from Woolacombe beach and town making everything very accessible without having to use a car for the essentials. The town has a great selection of bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and a lovely little cinema situated in the Woolacombe bay hotel. The location is great to access walks to Croyde, Georgeham and Ilfracombe. Overall we could not have asked for more during our stay at the Longbeach house, it really is the perfect spot for couples or families and not forgetting our fury friends.

Cracking stay, thanks Longbeach. So homely, comfortable and clean; no expense spared - the Riedel wine glasses and Nespresso machine were a lovely touch. Felt looked after and had a wonderful couple of weeks in North Devon. No shortage of coastal towns and sandy beaches for day trips, but Woolacombe Beach tops them all and it's 5 mins down the road!
