Lundy House Hotel

Rooms: The living/ dining room is huge and it and the large downstairs bedroom have what must be the best views in the area. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. It was so quiet all we could hear were the waves which lulled us to sleep. There were more than enough storage. The upstairs bedroom is also big, with a sloping ceiling. The kitchen is as well equipped. We went in cold weather but stayed very warm thanks to the efficient stove. A boot full of logs helped but these are also available in the local supermarket. There were also generous supplies when we arrived. There was also a good supply of hot water. Nearby activities: There are water and beach based activities including what looked like good surfing. Safety: The cabin isnt really suitable for anyone with mobility problems. From the road is is down a very steep hill to the car park and then down steps and a steepish path to the front door. Walkability: There are lovely short walks into Woolacombe and Mortehoe and the coastal path takes you north east to Ilfracombe and south towards Croyde Food & drinks: There are lots of different places to eat nearby. Noteworthy details: Recommended for anyone who enjoys stupendous views and peace and quiet!

facilities and a fantastic bathroom, when you open the french doors and get the full effect and power of the sea whilst having a coffee I really couldn't better the location or have been more relaxed! Great parking facilities, lovely walks available left and right Having had 6 days away at a supposedly luxury golf Spa then onto a luxury Country House, we both said to one another we would have preferred to stay at lundy house for 6 days A great place to escape the world! Thank you Tim for a lovely stay Hopefully visit again with the view to staying in one of the apartments. I'm determined to see Lundy!!
