Was really looking forward to staying here due to the excellent reviews, we were disappointed. The room was clean and tidy but the shower wouldn't run hot , the heating was blasting had to turn the radiators off and leave the windows open ,the WiFi didn't work in our room ,the TV remote doesn't work and the tv was blurry and had to be switched off at the plug which we could barely reach . we arrived hungry but was informed there was nowhere open to get food, we made do with a couple of ready meals from the local spar ( thank the lord there was a microwave) breakfast was going to be continental due liz sporting a hand injury but we wernt keen so just asked for bacon sandwich or toast as its cheaper and easier which was fine on our first morning , the toast I'm afraid was quite tough ,but there was plenty of homemade jams available, however we were informed later in the village there's a pub about a 20min walk away serving food until 9pm and liz didn't bother to get up on our second morning before we left for our train so we had to post the key through the door and make do with the spars bacon sandwiches on our way ,not what we would expect for our 180 shame as the b&b was lovely and in a nice location

We booked a weekend away and stayed at this fantastic B & B which I would recommend to everyone, it is spotlessly clean Liz the owner was very friendly and made you fell so welcome and a bonus was a superb breakfast if you are visiting Monkey World or any other attractions in the area then do not waste time searching for accommodation Fingle Bridge is the place to stay.
