        As a Sports fan on a weekend break in Woodstock, I was keen to watch the Aus v Eng RU Test k.o.1100 on Sat morning. The Woodstock Social Club were advertising live coverage on TV in the club. I visited with my wife, and found a group of guys watching the game on a 'drop down' cinema screen. They spoke to me and updated me on play and made us feel very welcome. The barmaid was very chatty, and remembered our round when I revisited the bar. A pint of Guinness and a half of Lager was 6.50. A very good call, especially for live Sport.

        Held our anniversary party here last week couldn't fault a thing from bar staff to excellent food .wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone .all our guests had a great time .
