        Having heard lots of good reports about food at the Punchbowl, myself and my partner and mother visited for Sunday lunch, sadly very disappointed, we ordered drinks which un fortunately were delivered wrong , the food arrived quite quickly, roast beef Sunday lunch, we had to ask for the cauliflower cheese that accompanies it , we weren't offered any conderments extra gravy etc with it , the meal was only warm, with little gravy, the roast potatoes I suspect had spent to long in a warmer , they were rubbery and dry, my portion of parsnips were hard in the center and Luke warm, and the beef dispite being cooked nicely, was very salty on the edges , it may of just been a one off , as said heard nothing but good reports, I would of complained there and then, but my elderly mother didn't want to rock the boat so to speak,
