Unprofessional Service, I do not recommend this firm for personal injury claims. My case took exactly 2 years to be complete and throughout that time it was very hard for me to get information about my claim. The case handler (trainee solicitor) was unorganised and never informed me of any updates on the case until I had to chase them. On one occasion, I was informed by the trainee solicitor that I had to attend a medical expert appointment in central London a day before the appointment. They are very careless and never respond to you on time. Even the solicitors responsible for the claim never kept in touch with me it was always the trainee solicitor who was very useless. I do not recommend this firm and will not use their service again.

31/01/23 - Called to ask for further details for a straightforward witnessing of a signature on a 'life certificate'. Made it clear the documents was in two languages, Dutch and English, corroborated by official documentation by the Netherlands embassy in London. Nasrin, who I spoke to, said it would be "absolutely fine", on the 3 occasions I called. I offered to email this document to confirm it would be ok, but was advised that it would not be necessary. Thereafter, my grandmother, who suffers from multiple disabilities, myself and two toddlers, commuted the distance, only to be advised "we cannot do it" because they could not authenticate the official translation, as suggested by personal injury solicitor Sefaret Yaman. A notary public and an embassy had no issue with this, but Ms. Yaman changed her mind from thinking she could, to not. Not very good at her job, perhaps. Trust the 1 star reviews that indicate the true inconsistent, remiss nature of Miya Solicitors. If they are incapable of communicating something as small as this, what's to say of a bigger case... Or perhaps that's why they were so dismissive? If you decide to move forward with them, I wish you the very best of luck.
