The White Swan

This is a beautiful 18th century pub in a stunning village a short distance drive from Oundle. We have visited a few times and have always really enjoyed our lunches/dinners there. I had my favourite ever starter there once in the warm skotch egg.... Beautiful. Their roast dinners are extremely good and service exceptional too. There is a narrowish driveway to the side of the pub leading to a small car park but there is ample on street parking. Overall an excellent experience at the swan.

Delicious meal, lovely for a night out but we just had a quick meal. Great to have a kids menu with quality food too.

Very poor. The last time we visited the restaurant cancelled our booking without informing us. There are some vegan options but the range needs to be vastly improved. Staff range from moody to unhelpful although some are friendly. If, however, all you want is to watch a continuous 15 second loop of swans swimming on a big wall mounted TV as you relax then this establishment should be top of your bucket list.
