        I cant recommend Steve highly enough. I had a very old cherrywood table top which had splits, cracks and even little bits missing. Now its beautifully restored. The cracks are now closed but visible, part of the patina expected in an antique, but theyre no longer yawning, ugly fissures as before. The missing bits? I couldnt find where theyd been. Outstanding work.

        We certainly found a master of his skill in furniture restoration. With thanks to Steve, our very sad looking Bergere chair needed re-caning, re-upholstering and the frame brought back to life. It was of huge sentimental value and we're delighted with it. Steve communicated with us throughout with great empathy and advice.

        Very pleased with restoration of a family heirloom chair - nothing fancy but important to us. From a sad, dirty looking, badly patched mess, to beautifully revealed wood and new fabric. Sensitively restored, Stephen even cleaned up and reused the original upholstery pins. Good for another few decades at least. Stephen was easy to liase with and listened to what was requested in the repair and renovation.
