Portion of 20 will get you a baby sized handful of chips and maybe a few bites of something advertised as COD but it is NOT cod. Will be reporting to local inspectors...It was a total rip off :( Only thing that was reasonably sized was the pickled onion. Recipe for batter is BLAND at best. Nothing to write home about - Not cheap & very UNcheerful. Never again. Needed to be honest here.

I love this place and have had my fish and chips there since they opened from a while back. The staff, including the owners, are very friendly and their prices are reasonable. My dinner was still crunchy when I took it home, on a bus, a ride of some 20 mins! I had the Monday special costing me 5.99, another 1, if you want to eat in. The portion for the Monday is reasonable for me and in my opinion. I have not added any photos .. why, couldn't wait to eat my fish and chips! Go and try and you will probably want more too. Well, went there on Monday again, to get mu Monday special .. and this time, photos, before I drown my F&C in my own chilli sauce, yum! Parking: No parking available but if you are quick enough, double yellow lines in out before trarfic warden comes round. In all my years of walking that area, i hardly see any traffic warden. If you do see them when getting your fish and chip just ask them nicely
