Please avoid this company. We have lost 1000's getting them to repair a 5 year old valiant boiler which they couldn't repair and then told us that we needed a new boiler. They charged us for the original ineffective repairs and the parts as well as for installing the new boiler. We were later told by the valiant head engineer that the original boiler was actually fine and that Marvel had just installed one of the parts wrong. To make matters even worse the new boiler was installed in a way that Vailant did not recommend (as it did not have air valves needed for this specific pipe setup) so we are now having faults on the new boiler and have had to spend 100's more to get the air vents installed. We asked Marvel to do it for free and of course they said that it was only a recommendation by Vailant and not compulsory. To me this says it all. They will only do the bear minimum rather than best practice. We've actually used these guys on and off for 10 years so I'm in a good position to give feedback. They used to be good when it was one guy (Andrew) doing all the repairs but he has since sold up. Now they send any old cowboy from any old company. They turn up in vans marked with different company names and without fail every time create a new problem. Usually a leaking pipe or faulty boiler. Do yourself a favour and stay well away. I have learned the hard way. You shouldn't have to.

Poor service from a generally disappointing and dishonest company. Please be careful using them. The plumbers are generally polite and timely, but ineffective. Charges are high, and the company will invoice you to make payment very (very) quickly after the works, threatening to take action if you don't pay. The model is to get your cash as soon as possible, so if there are any long terms issues remaining they do not have to fix them. All experiences are different, but consider your options before engaging with Marvel Property Solutions.

Great work and good prices. Only downside is communication: whilst generally good, on two occasions (of several) the engineer failed to notify us that they would be late. Or if/when they did, they told us one minute before they were meant to arrive. If you are going to be late, tell us in advance (i.e. at least one hour in advance). Other than that, excellent work.
