David Lloyd Finchley

It's probably got the best gym floor out of all the David lloyd gyms in London. But the spa, whilst it is nice, it's quite busy and also very very noisy. Chigwell spa has a door that separates the bed area from the jacuzzi area so when you're sleeping on the hot beds it's actually nice and you can hear the relaxing music. But with Finchley, that jet stream in the jacuzzi is so loud and everyone has to shout to be heard so it all just makes it very very noisy and you definitely need headphones to relax at all in Finchley. Overall, it is nice though.

Not worth the money: - locker thefts - parking lot always full, constantly used by non members - dirty changing rooms - closes 30-45 min earlier than advertised - stingy with towels even though brands itself as premium gym/spa club - sells specific access tier/perks, changes access/perks after the fact You are better off traveling the extra time/spending the extra money and going to Third Space or another actual high end gym. Edited after David Lloyds response: they say they can't find my details even though I've been a diamond member for a year and a half. Looking forward to my membership ending in 6 months.

Trust the reviews. This place is not worth the money. The staff are rude and patronising and they try and force you into membership by saying there will be a waiting list come the summer. The fact they try to charge you 2 just for an extra towel to use is quite frankly embarrasing, especially with the amount you pay each month. It is incredibly busy at all times and very noisy and loud from all the kids running around. The changing room always appears to be dirty also. The saunas/steam rooms in the Spa area seem to never really be hot and have witnessed multiple people complaining about them in my short few months of being a member here. Save your money and go elsewhere.
