Superb campsite with easy access to Woodhall Spa. Stayed for the weekend in our motorhome, with our daughter & husband joining us camping in their tent. Nothing was too much trouble for the wardens who were friendly & professional. Facilities are excellent and cleaned three times a day (not too many sites that do this). All-in-all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Will return.

Facilities: Excellent Site Cleanliness: Excellent General site layout: Good Attitude of the site Marshalls: Hugely unnecessarily disappointing, seems to be a common theme on the negative reviews, you'd have thought the management would have conducted some kinda customer service training. We'd booked 2 pitches for three nights, unfortunately our friend's on the second pitch had to leave a day early. For ease of packing away we parked our other vehicle in the second pitch (parking spot) which we'd paid for. Later that evening after a visit to local pub for drinks and food a Marshall arrived asking me to move our car, politely I mentioned that I wouldn't be able to because I'd had a few drinks..... the tone of his response was totally uncalled for, "that vehicle has been abandoned" totally ridiculous, it wasn't causing any issues to anyone apart from his ego when I once again said I wouldn't be able to move it, even though we'd paid for the pitch. "Right I'll report it as an abandoned vehicle to the manager" as you can imagine his tone and manor was so unnecessary, it spoilt the end to our weekend, we certainly won't be going back

The park itself is lovely with great amenities. Lovely swimming pool and park and great location for access big local shops and pubs Downside: rude wardens, unfortunately major traffic delays in which we thought we would give a courtesy call to advise as it was out of ours control (we had given ourselves plenty of time to get there before the 7pm deadline 2 and half hours for a 1 hour journey) We were told in an abrupt manner that if we werent there for 7pm we wouldnt be allowed in as they have a strict policy which I appreciate is in place but were advised there is no where to park up if after this time We arrived at 6:30 after horrendous diversions and traffic delays and advised my sister left at the same time and was 10minutes behind me Again I was abruptly told if she didnt make it for 7pm she would not be allowed in She had already called to say there was another accident in front of her and the ambulance was just arriving but they were delayed Surely its not too much trouble to acknowledge this was through no fault and knowing tehy were only 20 minutes away a little understanding wouldnt have gone a miss!!! The stress of the extra pressure of the e dealing with no understanding or friendly approach added to the awful journey Luckily they arrived with 5 minutes to spare but again on arrival there was very little in terms of customer service and friendly approach. Instead greeted by having to open the car to show them the dogs that we had booked in. It fell short of us being searched!!!! Ironically there was a camper van admitted at 7:30pm that night!! An approach if we are very strict on admissions but will hang on for 10 minutes as we know you are a few miles away may have been a better approach or a friendlier tone on the phone may have been more acceptable This is my first time here and after touring many places probably the unfriendliest wardens I have come across. Normally wardens are welcoming and add to the site you are staying at. As I say the site itself is pretty good and a long review but not the normal campsite experience and welcome
