Sedum Green Roof

Sedum roof installed in late June/early July. It has transformed the view from the window! Thoroughly watered after installation and once more during the hot spell, and now looks very happy in its autumnal state. Couldn't be more pleased with it!

Had a great experience with these guys. Amazing customer service and really went out of their way to ensure that all of my concerns were addressed. I had an extension added on to my house and put their tray system on top. It is just starting to flower and looks fantastic! I can't wait until I see first hand, the amount of additional biodiversity the system generates! Best of luck with the future Team Sedum Green Roof!

I contacted Sedum Green Roof via their website to enquire about installing a green roof on an 8' x 6' shed. Toby responded quickly to my mail, and was very pleasant, polite and informed about the product. After a quick call, I went with the Premium S-Pod modules and the edging. Order was delivered on time, on a pallet, and the product looked great. After a couple of hours, and a little challenge to get the long edges joined perfectly, we are now the proud owners of a green roof! (we've a few more stones to get) Really responsive, good knowledge of their product and what will suit the structure, beautiful sedum, delivered on time, personally I can't say fairer than that. We're really looking forward to seeing what it looks like in spring time!

Excellent product, can't wait to see it in full flower. We built a single storey extension on our home and decided to put a sedum green roof on it so that we had something lovely to look at out of the bedroom windows. We also wanted to replace the lost green area the footprint of the building took. The trays will also protect the roof membrane from temperature extremes. I came across Sedum Green Roof online and their innovative S Pods. These are really clever all in one trays that contain all the necessary layers, nutrients etc. to keep your plants going for years. I gave the roof dimensions to the company and they worked out how many trays we needed. We decided to put them up on the roof ourselves which we managed to do with some helping hands, but the trays are heavy and reasonably large and if I were to do this again I would pay extra to have them fitted for me. The trays can be cut as well, we just used a saw and then filled all the gaps with rounded small pebbles. We're really pleased with how this turned out. It's finished off the extension and given our home a special feature. We can't wait to see how it looks in spring and summer.

I first contacted Sedum Green Roof in August for a project in October. What drew me to them was there simple interlocking squares of sedum. No need to create a base of soil and plant, as it was already done. Visited the nursery to check the system and the place was spotless. Having been in horticulture for over 35 years, I have seen terrible weed infested nurseries but this place was totally weed less. Showed great care and respect for there product. Ordering was simple, delivery was good for today day and age. Within an hour it was up and completed. The interlocking trays were magic. Had to cut a few to fit but again no issues. The key for me was the level on communication. Simply outstanding, as in leave a message, 30 mins later or less a reply. Helpful and informative every time.
