Cygnet Hospital Stevenage

Was discharged homeless and told I was bed blocking whilst I was in the process of trying to secure accommodation by the social worker who I found very rude and seemingly judgemental on orchid ward. Also staff teasing me and being rude and refused to give me their names so I could complain, saying things like you should know my name, Im not telling you, go complain and I reported and never seemed to get a follow up

Im currently a impatient on Saunders Ward and its Spose to be a low secure unit yet us patients are under MSU rules and few of us are ready for discharge but they keep us to fill the bed make money for the company Cygnet I had enough of these private hospitals making money out of NHS England every year they take millions for rubbish staffing that cannot understand and do simple task at meal times send in Carlo Lavarine to us and you see what we have to put up with normal staff rate good but agency useless and incompetent!

Family member was a patient here a cygnet hospital, I won't ever forgive them for stress and trauma this hospital caused not only to my relative but to us as a family. Very poor care received from this institution. Feel for the patients that are vulnerable and have no family members to speak out or fight for them. They are great at dishing out and overmedicating patients just to make the lives of the staff on shift easier. To all those who have family/friends here make sure you question things not everything is as it seems. Don't be fooled by the fact that's its a private hospital and that it has patients best interest at heart. Definitely a hospital that needs a undercover CQC inspection. Needs to be closed down as far as I'm concerned.
