Shirkoak Fisheries

What can I say , this place , Shirkoak Fishery , in Kent , Brilliant. Stayed in the willow pod for 3 nights , couldnt fault it in anyway. Interior is completely modern and self contained as seen in pictures. Everything you could need provided (cutlery, microwave, pots & pans, kettle, toaster, even an outside bbq equipped with charcoal and tools!). Shower was superb in size and pressure. Super relaxing getaway on this stunning lake. 15 fish caught 3 nice mirrors, 22lb 6 oz , 21 lb 6 oz , 18 lb 13oz , the rest ranged from 10lb to upper doubles . The hosts Hugh and Sarah were very helpful, friendly and attentive . Would recommend to anyone who would like a good value getaway.

Had a great couple of trips here with my mate. The fry up is well worth it, proper quality food to start the day.

Well this place is an absolute gem, a beautiful, well run fishery, every fish was scale perfect, and the lake is full of surprises! Hugh and Sarah were lovely hosts, we stayed in one of the pods over the bank holiday weekend. Super cosy, with everything you could possibly need (but that didnt stop us from ordering one of their delicious full English breakfasts delivered to our door!). We will definitely be back!

We stayed in firs pod and it was lovely everthing we needed for a cupple of nights fishing with luxury. Owners are lovely and very helpful and the breakfast deliverd to our swim was delicious! Beautiful well kept lake and the fish are well looked after.
