        Lovely little cafe, always seated quickly and order taken by friendly staff. Coffee is delicious and the homemade cakes are to die for. Be warned, they are very generous portions and most are extremely rich and high on calorie count, but hey it's a treat !. Never tried their full meals but they always look yummie.

        Today I had mackerel and beetroot salad at Belle & Jo's but I was horrified to find a large lump of garden mud under the salad leaves, not good and not something I want to repeat.

        Probably the worst restaurant experience ever, forgot one meal from our order and then it took a further 20 minutes, by which time everyone else had finished, left half of it as it didn't particularly taste good.

        Just started getting back into midweek lunches since covid. This place is still the best for quality and value for money. Oh and nice staff as well.

        We go for Sunday lunch here every week and it's excellent but last couple weeks still OK but not so good we will still go on Sundays hopefully it will improve.
