My husband has been treated awfully at this surgery, they know he has mental health issues and they do nothing but antagonise him and push his buttons, then threaten to call the police if he comes into the surgery to speak to anyone. Then without warning send a letter removing him from the surgery altogether. What happened to doctors and nurses caring for and nurturing patients? Especially with mental health issues? Absolutely no empathy from the doctor herself and dont even get me started on the appalling attitude from the reception staff.

What a disappointment! The reception team really let down the practice. They are rude for no reason. I didnt want to write this review, so decided to after months of awful customer service. It takes nothing to be nice and caring in a customer facing role. If you don't like dealing with people, don't apply for the job. I am disgusted with the way they have spoken to me on numerous occasions. I see from the rest of the reviews, it's becoming a norm. Such a shame, I would of recommend this surgery to anyone. The Dr's have always been good, but seem overrun. This lovely family surgery has gone down hill.

Dr Liz Bailey is wonderful and I've found she takes the time to get to the root of a problem. However, I can't say the same about the reception team. My flag is do not tell them you've moved home until you've signed up at a new surgery. I told them I'd moved, but was waiting for a medical report to come to them and then once that had happened I would switch surgerys. I was told not to worry, they wouldn't do anything and that I had 30 days before they would deregister them. This was not true and I was deregistered almost immediately. They tried to blame NHS England, but they would only know about my change of address if they had started the process. As a result, I've ended up in a very difficult situation of needing medication based on a specialist medical report and unable to get correct treatment until I find a new doctor and register elsewhere which takes time. Certainly don't expect any compassion or acknowledgement of their mistakes.

Been a patient here for 30+ years. Always had a pleasant and helpful experience. Sadly it's not the GP surgery it used to be. Little empathy to want to help or listen. As it's an essential service, I hope you have better luck than I did.

Best GP Ive ever had. Talks to you like a person, listens, and goes above whats required. Great with kids. If youre in the catchment area then register!
