I've taken 5 courses with AMAC over the past year, and their service is absolutely top-notch. Very knowledgeable instructors, a VERY caring but professional company who simply want their clients to do well. They certainly went above and beyond in the services given to me, and I would recommend them time and time again. There are many more courses I would like to study with AMAC in the future, and look forward to being back with them soon.

I booked a group-cycling course and an online circuit-building course through AMAC under one of their BOGOF offers they frequently promote. Not only did they never give me access to the circuit-building course through their online learning portal, but when my car broke down on the eve of the group-cycling course (and unfortunately the training location in Tonbridge Wells was difficult to access by public transport from Canterbury) they refused to refund me or transfer me to another course at a later date. "Read the contract" they said, "if you don't show your money is forfeit" end of story. Clearly point 15.4. in their Ts & Cs, i.e. 'Force Majeure' means nothing to them. When I asked about the online course the woman on the phone said she would "speak to management and get back to me" which of course she never did. The same happened when I spoke to another woman, and when I phoned back a third time to challenge them any politeness they had when taking my money soon disappeared. AMAC took 120 from me and gave me nothing in return. Now they won't reply to my emails and I have no line of recourse (since legal aid has been abolished) other than to spend more money in legal services with no guarantee of getting anything back, which I can't afford to do. My advice to anyone considering dealing with this company is to seek out other training outlets. Since this episode I've spoken to a few personal trainers about AMAC and amongst the feedback were comments including "I got a bad feeling about them" and " ****** are way better".. It reminded me of the subtle dodgy feelings I also had at the time, and passed over. At my age I should have known better and listened to my instincts. However, being new to the industry I was unaware of other PT training outlets. If asked to summarise my personal experience of AMAC Training I would describe them as shameless, petty brokers, middle-men making an easy buck off the backs of low-earners. Shame on them!

I have to say, I am surprised at a couple of reviews left here... I have completed courses with Amac and they are, without doubt, one of the best, most genuine training providers around. I'd done a bit of research into other companies before someone at my local gym pointed me in the direction of Amac, having trained with them himself. Even from my first phone call, I felt at ease as they took the time to talk me through how the course would run, making sure I fully understood what to expect before I had even booked. The tutors and support they gave were top notch. I was a bit unsure whether the online lectures would be for me at first but when I passed my exams first time I knew they had been worth the effort. Since I got my PT qual Ive done a few of Amacs profusion courses too. I recommend Amac wherever I go and have found all those on course feel the same as me. such positive word of mouth says it all!
