Brilliant service I called them they told me to send in my unit and they upgraded it from a 350w to a 500w for 25 plus 10 postage

I bought a Microclimate Evo Lite & ran it for 6wks before I started to have problems with it. My temperature was set to 90 degrees F on my Royal Python vivarium & it had shot up to 128 degrees F during the night. Not at all happy with this thermostat & would highly recommend people steer well clear of these thermostats as they are dangerous!!! Also the touch screen is the worst screen I have ever used. The whole screen moves when you try to push the silly little buttons which proves to be a mission in itself.

Steer well clear of Microclimate products as I've had 2 of there Evo Lite thermostats spike & throw the temperature through the roof. One of my vivs went to 120 degree F before I saw it & unplugged it. We had only been back an hr from being away for the weekend. Viv & room was filled with smoke from melting the plastic viv. Thermostats were only 7 months old & I've had this 1 perticular thermostat do it 3 times which I sent back to Microclimate 3 times to repair & every time it came back, it did the exact same thing. My other blue thermostat did it twice, so I threw it in the bin as it wasn't worth the hassle with dealing with Microclimate. They are a terrible company to deal with that won't reply to emails or phone calls that I've tried contacting them on numerous occasions to ask for 59 compensation to cover costs on 3 lots of postage, plastic heat pad that got melted & a new cermanic bulb. If you are after a digital thermostat, BUY HABISTAT!
