We visited at an open day over Easter 2023. I had no idea what to expect. I thought we'd see some animals in fields in the distance and have a nice vegan burger. It wasn't like that at all! What we experienced was far more profound. All the animals - sheep mostly, but also a few pigs, chickens and pigeons - are cared for, for life, by enthusiastic and kind volunteers. And the result is that the animals are happy. You can feel the happiness when they run up to you, look in your face, brush against your legs, beg for a rich tea biscuit! They are so full of life and energy, freed from fear, pain and anxiety. This is how all animals should experience life. I hope that if visitors are not vegan when they arrive, that they will consider becoming vegan. The remembrance of the happy sheep will stay with me for a long time. You can visit by emailing the farm, email address on their website.
