My train to London from lichfield was cancelled due to bad weather over the weekend. Phoned Red Spotted Hanky up today to request a refund. Was told I need to email them and send any pictures of proof the train was cancelled. Who takes a picture of the screen when your train is cancelled.? So they are refusing me a refund due to this.

Used RSH for over a decade and am not likely to continue. I needed to change a booking so sent 2 webform requests that went unanswered. The date of travel passed so I had to buy another ticket. Finally got hold of someone on the phone to be told that the webform was broken and my request had not been received. Was advised a request had been sent to the "refunds team". Six weeks later still no refund and when I phone up to ask for a payment date the advisor just tells me "I can't access that system sorry" My experience is that it is near impossible to get a refund or to change a booking RSH.
