        Lovely restaurant and fantastic service by our waiter Danny. The food was really good, freshly cooked and very tasty. The varied menu offers something for everyone. 10/10

        We have been here about three times and been very pleased with the pub. The beer is good and good quality wines. We have a dog so its good to be able to bring him too. The service is good too with friendly and helpful waiters and bar staff. The meals are better than most pubs visited with a wider choice and freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Danny and all the team at the Mermaid.

        Not sure how physics were defied but they managed to overcook a steak while serving it stone cold. Prawn and crab linguine looked less fresh cooked pasta and more pink congealed super noodles. Combined with wait staff picking their nose behind the bar and two groups of customers calling each other a nonce at half four on a Monday, it wasnt the best experience, if Im honest.
