Plenty places to sit and have lemonade/lime,also Had a carvery..Good portion of meat given..veg to crunchy.needed more time in pan.potatoes dry..

Possibly the worst pub food experience I've had in a while. First of all, it took 20mins to get served drinks which took 3 attempts for the bar staff to get right then my first 2 selections from the food menu were unavailable. I was finally able to get my 3rd choice of rump steak and chips, I asked for medium rare it came well done. My partner had a mixed grill with a medium steak which came rare and topped with pineapple (which I found odd). My second round of drinks came after a 10-minute wait my partner wanted a lime and soda water with no ice. After clearly specifying I got plenty of ice and barely a drop of lime after also asking for extra lime as the previous one on the first time of asking was just soda. By this time I felt it wasn't worth the trouble to ask them to remove the ice AGAIN. there were 5 people behind the bar yet only two of them were serving the rest of them seemed to be glass collectors and were just standing having a chat. On a positive note, the staff serving the food were very pleasant and there seemed to be lots of variety on the carvery which looked nice. Although, I didn't try it. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you enjoy long waits for incorrect orders and poorly cooked food with little selection. Otherwise, I'd avoid this place like the Provi woman's knock.
