Friendly, great atmosphere, comfortable pub, nice prices, lovely interior & exterior decor, excellent barman and staff. Will visit after work again soon.

Great city centre pub, easy walk less than 10 minutes from railway station. Haven't been inside in 20 years and barely changed either inside or out loads of character with a good selection of real ales very reasonably priced, staff very friendly. No fancy frills or gimmicks, just a pub where you can get a beer. A refreshing change may not be to everyone's liking but not too many of these establishments around now, but it's good to remind oneself of how it used to be if you're old enough to remember.

A great stop on the Wolvo pub crawl, with an amazing frontage and bar. Good beer and Im sure a good atmosphere when busy!!
