Dreadful service. My partner was due to look at a property to rent. He was calling the day before and on the day to check it was still going ahead as he knew they were redecorating the property. He turned up to the property for his appointment and no one was there. Then when he called to find out what was going on someone finally answered and said they had never scheduled a viewing for that time and it was the first time he'd called. No apology, nothing.

Absoloutley shocking customer service with rude and unprofessional staff. Rented through these for about 5 years and always felt like banging my head up against the wall.

If you are looking to rent a house or rent your house out do not use these. They are so unprofessional it is actually laughable. I would tell them myself but they never answer the phone.

Organised a viewing on a rental and loved the place. Told the agent id like to proceed there and then and was told someone else before me had said they wanted the property 3 days ago , but if they had not heard from them by 5.30 that day I could apply. Felt it was unfair as i was certain and ready to proceed there and then, but agreed. I recieved application at 5.15 that day via email. I filled it in the next morning, confirmed over the phone that I was taking it in and even discussed my payment of a ' holding fee' over the phone... i decided to wait until i got to branch. 45 minutes later i arrive at Wolverhampton office. Hand in my paper work and am told someone was being credit checked already for the property and that I would be contacted if they failed! Totally sent me on wild goose chase for a property that already had an application pending ' just in case' their credit check failed. Resulted in a lot of disappointment and wasted time . Very misleading agent and unethical. They have taken the ad down now and not even bothered to contact me to say whats happened. They have paperwork with all my personal details, inc bank details and I have no idea what they have done with it because it wasnt used for my application! They assure me that this us how its done throughout the estate agent world, but all other viewings ive had that resulted in someone sending in an application before me was cancelled via email . Id like to ask Harveys... Why take viewings on properties that you have applications for? Why wait for someone who was interested 3 days ago when you have someone saying they will apply that day? Why discuss holding fees and offer a mobile number to call to pay it because ' the card readers with the manager at his or her home?' and why get someone to travel to branch to tell them that you have a credit check in progress and application 45 minutes after a phone call to check all was still ok? And what has happened to my application containing my bank details and other private info? Very dodgy. Agree with other negative comments. Avoid.
