Wanted to park last night but none of the ticket machines were working had to go to the NCP car park in Fryer St and pay 9.95, what a rip off. Why can't you pay with cash or card

Most of the machines do not take cash, I don't want to use my card for 2 especially when you add 20p for using the app! The ones that used cash were conveniently out of order and yes of course I'm sure I was on broad street!
