Guru Jewellers

I would NOT recommend using services at at Guru Jewellers - dissatisfied and hugely disappointed. I gave two of my Mums rings to them on Tuesday 4th April 2023, asking for them to be cleaned and repaired (they were slightly bent and two small stones needed to be replaced). I explained that the rings needed to be ready before 14th April, and was informed that would be no problem. I asked if I could be called later this week for an update, and Suneeta was pleasant and told me to call on Tuesday (11th). I called on Wednesday 12th for an update, and spoke to Vijai. I asked please can I have an update on my mums rings, my name is Sandy Nahal..?. He quite bluntly said for me to help you it would help if you told me your name - I repeated my name, and he said that they will be ready on Thursday. I called on Thursday 13th and spoke to Vijai, who told me the rings will be ready for 5pm, but call us before you get here. I asked, if they will be ready for 5pm, why do I need to call beforehand as I am at work and unable to keep making personal calls? He told me that this is what hes telling me to do. So at 5pm, when I finished work I called Vijai, and he said they rings are not ready to collect and they should be ready for midday Friday. I explained to him that Im hugely disappointed, as I had explained last week that I needed to collect the rings before Friday 14th April. Vijai responded by saying I think there must be something wrong with your hearing - I did not say the rings would be ready for 5pm today . I asked where the rings were and for me to collect them directly from where they were being fixed if not at his shop, to which he replied You do not need to know where the rings are. Clearly shocked and massively disappointed with this customer service so far, I remained polite and stated I need the rings ready for 10.50am tomorrow morning as I will be leaving Wolverhampton at 11am. He said he cannot guarantee this - I informed him I have not slept well over the last week due to my partner being in hospital and unwell, and I would appreciate to not be spoken to with such attitude over the phone by someone who should be providing a friendly service . His response: I will pull a few strings and get the rings ready for 10.50am. The next morning I was running late due to my partner being unwell, and received the attached text from Vijai. (If google review has no function for me to upload screenshot, the text said stated its 11.07am) I got to the shop at 12pm and could see that Suneeta was helping a customer, however she spoke over the customer and said you were supposed to be here at 10.50am, go and get your rings from my husband over there...!! I didnt say anything, got the rings and was informed it would cost 80. When I left I asked how to leave a review for the service received - this was responded with what review will you be leaving.. to which I explained an honest one, so if you can please open the door as Im in a rush. Absolutely appalled with the service and will be sharing my awful experience with anyone who should be looking for a local jeweller. Avoid this shop, as there are plentiful other jewellers located on the same road that will offer a friendly, far more professional and efficient service.

I've been using Guru Jewellers for over 10 years I've had all my wedding jewellery made from Vijai recently good customer service top prices paid for the gold I will highly recommend Guru Jewellers

Amazing customer service and extremely professional. Had adjustments made to a bracelet which has been done so well that it is impossible to tell any work has been carried out. I was told by numerous jewellers it was not possible but the team at Guru Jewellers have done a brilliant job. Highly recommended!

Very pushy in asking for money has no patience. I have no other jewellers seen so greedy and pushy for money I recommend no one buy from here.
