Fantastic service from all the brilliant staff I can see clearly now

Useless hospital they sent us an appointment letter 2 months ago at 3pm today during school run time, and after arranging someone else to pick kids up, and take out our youngest child out of school early to make the appointment, only to find they've changed the dates notifying us by phone or letter. Then the receptionist went on trying to prove the our letter sent on 6th December 2021, which was dated for today's appointment and time, given with current pandemic & covid19 rules in place, we risked our health who are both high risk and our child to be told come on 25th now same time and travel another 20 miles one way trip to New Cross, with all the risks of getting infected. Well that won't be happening now, if New Cross can't be bother to send out new time & date for new appointments or even phone us up to notify us of changes, we won't just bother to show up on next appointment we don't even know what it was about in first place.

Even under Covid restrictions, the service offered by this department was first class. From booking in, to being assessed by a nurse, to seeing one of the doctors was all very easy. No-one chooses to visit a hospital for treatment unless absolutely necessary, but these dedicated people in the ERU made it (almost) a pleasure ! Thank you.
