After less than 2 years, water is coming through the roof of my shed. On inspecting the roof externally, I find the felt has been fixed on only with rusting steel staples, about 10 inches apart. As they rust they let water in - and when they rust through completely (very soon) the roofing felt will blow away in the wind. I cannot believe the company took my money and left me with such appalling workmanship.
The correct way to fix roofing felt is with adhesive at the overlaps and then large-headed, galvanised special nails (called clouts) about 3 inches apart (there are lots of Youtube videos on the subject).
I've already had to reinforce the walls, gable ends and the sagging roof for fear of the shed blowing over in the wind or collapsing under a layer of snow, and there are numerous other deficiencies I've had to fix. Now I will spend part of next summer re-doing the felted roof.
I strongly advise you to avoid this company's products. Companies House records show that, in effect, the company name has been changed, possibly twice in the last two or three years, so beware.
The best advice is to check very carefully before buying - and after your shed is erected, have someone knowledgeable inspect it for poor workmanship before any (possibly worthless) guarantee runs out.
