Yates Electrical was subcontracted to fit the electrics in my new conservatory build in 2012 and did a great job.The conservatory company went bust a few years later but thankfully Yates was still around when I needed them. After 8 years the electrics in my conservatory developed a fault. By this point I had British Gas Homecare cover so I called them to investigate. British Gas sent two engineers on two occasions who could not find the root cause and instead left me with a quote of 1000 to rewire the conservatory, claiming that all of the circuits had corroded! I decided to email Steve Yates as he was the original installer, who then phoned me 2 hours later to arrange a visit for the following week. He attended with two of his engineers who spent about 1-2 hours in diagnosing and resolving what turned out to be a minor issue free of charge. Steve Yates had just saved me 1000. I shook his hand and gave him a bottle of wine as a token of my thanks. Steve you are an honourable man. Thank you.
