Terrible customer service - came in with my daughter (over 18 and lives separately from me) to buy a ps5, and I was purchasing my own. We had ordered online but this payment was then cancelled and we decided to purchase in-store instead. After explaining to the manager my issue, she was understanding and assisted me through the cancellation process. When I returned to pay in-store, I paid for my PS5 with MY OWN card, single and with my own collection point and receipt. My daughter then went to do the same and the fellow that served us immediately looked at me and said that it was 1 per customer (I know this - and we are 2 customers). He then brought out the woman who attended to me earlier (Who already understood my issue as we had been talking about it for 30 mins) who then turned around and sides with the male worker. She left it saying "well I'll do it just this once but normally..." Well no. The English language is the English Language and the restriction says 1 PER CUSTOMER not 1 PER HOUSEHOLD. We had separate receipts, separate cards and were served separately with separate reservations. If you don;t understand the rules of your own store, perhaps stay in the storeroom. Horrible attitude from the woman, who I am assuming is the manager, and the old male worker bringing out the console and very 2 faced to suddenly change her tune when collecting the PS5, considering she was so nice about the issue previously. To make matters worse, all through this argument, neither of the workers even looked at my daughter's receipt, not even acknowledging it separate to mine when we put them both on the table for them - blatantly stood there repeating the same drivel. Go elsewhere unless you want to feel like a criminal for spending just under 1K.

Visited over Christmas and New Years to do some shopping. Every time I had interactions with any of the staff they have always been positive, they are always friendly and are just human. Customer service was fast and efficient especially from Rachel and Jiggy, who are both top class and very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!!

Don't think of buying a laptop from Argos if you ever change your mind or it ends up being faulty because as soon as you open the box to have a look at it, they class it at used and don't allow a return.
