Newbridge Wolverhampton

Decided to come here as I had a birthday voucher. Terrible from the start, didn't have things on menu, startes took 35 mins to arrive and it was quiet. I had a carvery but when I approached the carvery deck the meat was dried up so I decided on sausage but they only had dried up pigs in blankets. They only had 4 vegetables options and they were all mushed like baby food. Gravy was like water, so.i approached a staff member and changed my order to scampi and chops with peas. It took 25 mins further to arrive by this time my friends had finished their food. No.apology nothing, oli won't be going back or my group of friends either. Staff didn't seem interested in being there too.

Sort of okay unlimited breakfast but the staff don't seem to track what's running out very effectively, so you can end up waiting a long time for fried eggs, for example. We went in on a Bank Holiday evening for the carvery because we were on the way home after a long weekend and couldn't be bothered to cook. The carvery was fine but when we got there, there was nobody serving. There was a member of staff in the pizza area but rather than poking her head around the kitchen door she completely ignored us so we waited several minutes before somebody came out. Pretty poor customer service.

Nice pub, reasonable carvery with friendly relaxed atmosphere. Accommodated our large party with ease. Limited ale options but a good family restaurant.
