Nice , spacious and we were pleasantly surprised that it wasnt overpriced . Definitely a must place to stop here after visiting the main building and the gallery.

This is a cafe under the wing of the National Trust. This means that you get pretty good food, drinks and coffee. It will cost you a fortune but hey, that's because you are in a National Trust Cafe. The cakes here are excellent as is the coffee. You can get a decent meal - the choice is not that wide but do people really go to National Trust Cafes 'for a meal'? If you want more choice, go to a restaurant. One important point of note - the place can be a bit draughty. If it's winter, don't leave your coat in the car.
