Im a little disappointed with Three Pines, if Im honest. They had been doing work on some neighbouring properties, so I thought Id get in touch to obtain a quote. The process of requesting a quote was easy, you just ring up, give them your details and explain what you want doing as standard. I explained that I wanted my existing garden wall knocking down and rebuilding but made just that little bit bigger. We have a little bit of land to the side of the property, so wanted to maximise the space. They organised for someone to come round, they were a no-show the first time round but managed to re-arrange and that was all fine. The guy who came round was on time, professional and friendly too. The thing that disappointed me about Three Pines the most was the cost I appreciate that this job wasnt going to be cheap, with the cost of materials on the rise and having to pay for labour costs/their experience etc, but I was absolutely flabbergasted when Three Pines quoted me over 20,000 for this job alone! I obtained quotes from two other companies for comparables and they were both considerably lower than Three Pines. I am assuming they have put the price up to over 20K as they may not simply want to take on this job, which is fine, but if they would have just expressed this when I rang up to enquire, then it would have saved us both some time. I had to rearrange my work schedule/take time off for the two times they were meant to come round (the no-show time and then the time in which they actually did), which makes this even more frustrating. We were also looking to get an extension on the property in the next few years, but its a shame as I would now no longer touch them with a bargepole, nor recommend them to anyone.
