        Stayed for 5 nights in Aug 2022. Fantastic cottage, very clean, lovely smell as you walk in. As well as microwave, big fridge freezer, cooker there was also a dish washer, washer-drier, everything provided you could possibly want. No cost had been spared, were all good quality appliances. There were home made cakes, butter, fresh farm eggs, and a little pot of flowers for us as well as fresh bread baking. We were well taken care of, owners were on site on their farm, friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Binks Cottage to anyone.

        Binks cottage is a brilliant place to stay in County Durham. We are welcomed by our hostess Amanda into a comfortable and very well equipped cottage. Our welcome pack was much appreciated. Binks is situated in the village of Thornley and very handy for places like Beamish open air museum, Durham City and Hadrian's Wall. I highly recommend Binks cottage a home from home.

        Brilliant cottage in a very pretty village, close to Durham, Hadrian's Wall less than an hour away. Every comfort you could imagine, scones to welcome you, together with milk, butter and freshly made bread! Lots of wonderful white fluffy towels, comfortable beds with lovely fine cotton bedding. I can't recommend Binks Cottage highly enough
