I wanted to say a big thank you to Shelley for everything she did for Dads funeral service recently . From the first initial visit to our home to talk about Dad to the ceremony she has been very supportive.Everyone commented what a lovely heartfelt service it was. I would highly recommend Shelley.

I want to say a big thank you to Shelley for everything she did for my Dads funeral ceremony. She captured every detail and using the information I provided, composed a beautiful eulogy of his life. All the feedback I received from friends and family, has been very positive and complementary of her service from start to finish. We wanted to reflect his faith whilst not having a church service and Shelley worked with Dads friend and former minister. She included his contribution, interweaving it into the main ceremony and final committal seamlessly. Shelley is a professional, pleasant and reassuring person, who made a very difficult time for the family much easier, knowing we were in her reliable hands.

Shelley of SJW Celebrant made the sad occasion of the death of Liz, a wife, mother, Nan & great Nan a wonderful a great send off. Shelley was personable and very thoughtful she got close to all of Liz family and put a eulogy together that described her life so well, she touched on our sadness but focused on the happy times Thank you Shelley x

A lovely and professional person, who made the perfect tailored service for wedding day. Very friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. In the chats before the big day, she guided us through the ceremony plans, and told us some example timings etc, to help us plan more than just the ceremony. Always contactable in case we needed anything. I would recommend Shelley for anyone else's ceremony. Thank you again Shelley!

Shelley was recommended to me by H Porter and Sons, Stourbridge, to conduct my mother's funeral service a few months ago. From the beginning, her approach was professional, caring and sympathetic. Shelley visited me at home to find out about Mom's life and the things that had been important to her. She was concerned not just to get all of the details factually correct but also to ensure that the eulogy was precisely in accordance with our family's wishes. Although we had asked for a humanist, rather than religious, service Shelley clearly appreciates that people's beliefs are not always clear cut, and she was happy to incorporate a couple of religious (Christian) elements as well. She gave us very helpful advice on the various stages of the service, sending me drafts of the eulogy for approval several days beforehand. Shelley was happy to make any changes and additions we asked for and offered some very useful guidance on choosing appropriate music. At the service itself, her presentation was measured but, more importantly, both heartfelt and sincere. Everyone attending remarked upon how moving it was and how well it had reflected Mom's life. All in all, we are very glad that we chose Shelly to conduct Mom's service and I would certainly have no reservations about recommending her services to other families.
