Both myself and my daughter have had lessons from Chris for over a year and we were both absolute novices before we started. We have found Chris to be a very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and upbeat tutor who is very encouraging and engaging and who is also keen to ensure that we were progressing. He is also very patient (we certainly put that to the test!) flexible and professional. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone thinking of taking piano lessons. Best wishes from Dave and Stella.

Chris has been teaching me piano and music theory since 2013. At that time I hadn't played piano for about 15 years, so whilst I had a grounding in music, I had to re-learn pretty much everything. Chris teaches piano and music really well, and whilst we have fun in lessons he has pushed me further than any teacher I've had in the past. He has a really clear way of explaining things, and has a great attention to detail which has helped me improve my performances and in my confidence as a pianist. Looking forward to many more years learning with Chris as my tutor.

Chris has been teaching my elder daughter for over four years now and my younger daughter for almost two. I've been impressed by his patience and his ability to relate to the children. He is encouraging without being over ly pushy and spends time trying ensure that that the girls enjoy their lessons. I've found him very flexible with lesson timings and he had always been reliable. He had an easy going, upfront and affable manner and is always cheerful and positive.
