Avoid at all costs. I telephoned Market Weighton Mowers and explained the problem I had with my sit on mower (lack of power after running the mower for about 15 mins, especially when going up an incline) They mentioned something to do with the transmission and they would come and collect it. They had had my mower one week so I rang them up for an update, asking them if they had managed to sort out the problem. "Problem? What problem?" came the reply. When explaining again about the problem they then said that they had not started to look at it but would begin work on it in a couple of days. Another week went by so I decided to ring again for another update. They said that they had stripped it down and cleaned it. Another week went by with no update so a third call was made, reply was they were putting back together and would be ready soon. Days passed by with no communication from them so I made a telephone call and managed to establish a day my mower would be returned. The Mower did arrive on time an invoice and card machine was given for me to pay straight away which I duly did. The invoice said service and clean which was 186 no mention of dealing with the problem I told them about. ( I had not mention a service over the phone and the mower didn't require one as I had done this a month previously). I gave the mower a test out and within 10 mins it was doing the same thing, losing power on an incline. After many calls later they refunded me for parts.(35) I will not be using this company again.
