Clara's Cottage

We have just got back from a Wonderful weekend with our two Grandsons. They really enjoyed 'the secret little house' in the back bedroom and the magic bubbles bath. Beautiful cosy & warm cottage, just like 'going back to stay with Grandma'. The cottage is short of nothing and the garden is secure for little people and dog. Good base to visit various places, we did Filey, Malton & Pickering.

Clara's is a very cosy and comfortable cottage, equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing break in the Yorkshire Wolds. We felt very much at home from our arrival with the lovely welcome pack to the information book on local places of interest and the log burner! The cottage is in a very peaceful location with opportunities to visit the coast, historic market towns, stately homes and wonderful walks. We have never slept more soundly with the quietness, no light pollution and very comfortable beds and returned home truly refreshed and invigorated. Thank you Catherine!

Claras cottage is an absolutely ideal getaway! The area is so calm and neighbours friendly, the garden is gorgeous and the cottage itself is enchanting. Catherine is the perfect host, always responsive and considerate of everything. Whether youre lapping in the sun in the beautiful garden or cosying up in the living room and watching the rain, the cottage has a way of making everything feel just right. 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely visit again. Just returned from a fabulous few days at this 200 year old cottage. Very cosy and well equipped with comfortable beds and a wood burner. Loved sitting in the sunny garden too. Very convenient parking outside and situated within a very interesting little village which is great to wander round (although the pub is currently closed). Enjoyed our trip around Sledmere House, a boat trip from Bridlington to Flamborough Head and relaxing on the almost empty sandy beaches.
